Web Design is a huge subject, its not just about putting up a sparkly new site and leaving it, that would be like buying a whole bunch of brochures and leaving them in the box! The following are questions we include in a questionnaire to people looking for us to develop a new website. It helps focus the mind on the important aspects of developing a design for a new website: →

    1. Describe your business.
    2. Who are your customers?
    3. What are your products and services?
    4. What are your objectives and expectations?
    5. Is the material and content, for instance, images, logos & text, already available?
    6. Are you able to write your own content?
    7. How often would your website need updating, for instance, product launches, promotions, news updates etc
    8. What is the launch date for your website?
    9. What websites do you admire?
    10. What would you like your visitors to think about your website?
    11. What action would you like your visitors to take?
    12. Have you already registered your domain names?
    13. Who would be responsible for maintaining your website?
